Personally I prefer the QuickTime HD codec choice - looks superb in 1080p (the stills look lovely, and allow me to really see some of the detail done on the inner workings of the starship). I cannot wait for the film and really love what they’ve done with the sound effects/music combo at the end of the trailer. Also nice to hear Spok reciting the words tattooed to the inside of my head.

I hate to be the one to point this out, but The USS Enterprise NCC-1701 had TWO captains before Kirk. Captains April AND Pike. So the ship we are seeing built? It’s Captain April’s.
