One simple example: if you go onto The Way Back Machine's website and look at how Baidu's homepage evolved over the years, you'll notice what a copy cat Baidu is. I have used both Google and Baidu and I find Google get the information I want and Baidu just returns crap (or in case of image search, semi-pornographic material). Baidu simply ripes every idea, feature, and product off of Google.
